An Afghan Church in Delhi - NYT story on Afghan refugees

[July 22, 2013, ] The New York Times, Neyaz Farooquee reports on Christian Afghans seeking refuge in Delhi from the strict Islamic law in their homeland. Converts to Christianity, who can be charged with apostasy and possibly executed for abandoning Islam in Afghanistan, regularly flee to India but still face persecution. Despite the hostility, Pastor Obaid Jan of the Afghan Church of New Delhi remains positive: “The size of my community in India is only increasing,” he says. “I hope my community won’t have to migrate again.”
